I also wanted to mention, that whatever you do buy online, make sure to use http://www.greenanysite.com/ when you buy it, to make sure a portion of your purchase is donated to the environment.

Green Any Site (GAS) is a new initiative I just launched last week, and I would love to tell you more about it if you feel like emailing me (tal@talater.com)… I’d really love to get it to as many shoppers as possible this time of year, it can do a lot of good. Unfortunately, I have a zero dollars advertising budget, so any help spreading the word would be appreciated.

P.S. – Loved all the great suggestions, especially the ones about animal rescues as gifts.
